Job summary

ATSICHS Brisbane is seeking an IT Officer to join the IT department. The role provides advanced technical support to end-users, balancing technical expertise with exceptional customer service.

You will perform hardware/software/network support, routine maintenance, security monitoring, and documentation. The successful candidate will have 2+ years in IT, a Certificate 4, and expertise in Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Networking, and Azure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar IT-related role.
• Certificate 4 in relevant field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Networking and Azure.
• In-depth knowledge of IT systems, software and hardware.
• Ability to empathise with users and provide solutions that meet their needs.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with colleagues.
• Commitment to staying current with emerging technologies and best practices.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring timely resolution of requests and problems.
• Perform routine maintenance and updates on IT systems, ensuring optimal performance and security. Monitor and enforce IT security measures to protect data and systems.
• Install and configure hardware and software.
• Identify opportunities for improvements in security infrastructure and systems.
• Monitor and maintain access control, endpoint protection and backup solutions.
• Create and maintain documentation for IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
• Create and maintain project documentation as required including recording of risks and issues.
• Provide service delivery in line with the IT team's Service Level Agreement (SLA) with a key focus on customer service.
