Job description

Job Description

As an IT Manager at Gameloft, you will support a diverse range of teams—including artists, designers, programmers, QA, and administrative staff—to ensure their workstations, software, and technology tools run reliably and efficiently. You’ll lead our IT Support Technicians team while helping to plan and maintain the studio’s IT infrastructure, anticipate future technology needs, and deliver secure, effective solutions that enable our teams to do their best work. Working closely with local and global stakeholders, you’ll oversee day-to-day IT operations, drive continuous improvements, manage vendors and IT assets, and help maintain a secure and resilient technology environment as the studio continues to grow.

What it means on a daily basis
  • Manage the local IT team by coaching team members, setting clear expectations, evaluating performance, and supporting their professional growth.

  • Manage hardware and software inventories, ensure IT resources remain secure and compliant, and provide reporting as needed.
  • Work closely with the HQ IT Manager, Global Infrastructure, and Information Security teams to enhance standardization, operational efficiency, and security across Gameloft.
  • Manage the installation, deployment, and licensing of software packages.
  • Use monitoring tools such as Grafana to proactively monitor infrastructure health and performance.
  • Manage virtualization platforms to optimize resource utilization and server performance.
  • Oversee on‑premises infrastructure, core services, and network operations.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the Studio Manager and HQ IT Manager to ensure alignment with studio and company priorities.
  • Take a hands‑on approach by assisting with hardware deployment, equipment relocation, and shipping as required.
  • Partner with studio leadership, including the Studio Director, to influence technology strategy, infrastructure planning, and operational decisions that support the studio’s long‑term goals.
  • Participate in planned after‑hours work when required to perform maintenance, upgrades, deployments, or respond to critical incidents while minimizing disruption to studio operations.
  • Champion continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance IT processes, systems, and the overall technology experience for the studio.
What success will look like

You’ll build a high‑performing IT team that delivers reliable, responsive support while maintaining a secure and efficient technology environment for the studio. You’ll be a trusted partner to studio leadership and global IT teams, driving continuous improvements, ensuring infrastructure and IT assets are well managed, and delivering practical technology solutions that enable our teams to create great games.
