Job summary

Gameloft Brisbane is seeking an IT Manager to lead a diverse IT team, deliver reliable support, and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure for game development operations. You will work with local and global stakeholders to plan, implement, and optimize IT services across the studio.

You will coordinate with HQ IT and Security teams, manage hardware lifecycle, licensing, and deployments, and drive operational improvements while ensuring minimal disruption to production.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an IT leadership role.
• Experience leading or mentoring a technical support team.
• Strong knowledge of Windows server and desktop environments, networking, virtualization, and on-premises infrastructure.
• Experience managing IT operations, including hardware and software lifecycle management, asset management, and software licensing.
• Solid understanding of IT security best practices, system monitoring, backup, and business continuity.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with a customer-focused approach.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the local IT team, coaching members and guiding professional growth.
• Provide frontline hardware, software, and network support to users.
• Manage inventories, security, compliance, and reporting of IT resources.
• Collaborate with HQ IT Manager, Global Infrastructure and Security teams.
• Oversee installation, deployment and licensing of software packages.
• Utilize Grafana and other tools to monitor infrastructure health.
• Manage virtualization platforms for resource optimization.
• Oversee on-premises infrastructure, core services, and network operations.
• Provide regular updates to Studio Manager and HQ IT Manager.
• Perform hands-on hardware deployment, relocation, and shipping tasks as needed.
• Influence technology strategy with studio leadership.
• Occasionally participate in after-hours maintenance and incident response.
• Drive continuous IT process improvements.
