Job summary

The Lucas Group is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth for an irrigation technology business serving agricultural and horticultural sectors in Australia and New Zealand. Based in Adelaide or remote by agreement, you will manage relationships with distributors, consultants, growers and commercial customers.

You'll lead development of the irrigation control product range across Australia and New Zealand, with support from international partners and an experienced

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales and business development.
• Practical experience with irrigation control systems and software.
• Sound knowledge of irrigation design and system operation.
• Experience providing technical support and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated customer/distributor relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a diverse territory.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth across Australia and New Zealand.
• Develop new markets and business opportunities.
• Provide technical advice on irrigation control systems and software.
