Job summary

Toro is seeking a National Irrigation Specification Manager based in Braeside, VIC, with flexibility for interstate travel to drive specification adoption of our commercial irrigation solutions across Australia.

You will work with consultants, architects, designers, and contractors to secure product specifications on major projects and to build a strong pipeline nationwide, focusing on golf courses, sports turf, and public spaces.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years' experience within the irrigation industry.
• Experience working with consultants, architects, designers, and contractors.
• Strong business development and relationship management capabilities.
• Excellent negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking ability.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently.
• A customer-focused approach combined with strong technical knowledge.
• High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with SAP and/or SalesLogix will be highly regarded.
• Experience in golf, sports turf, or water management sectors is desirable.
• A valid Australian Driver's Licence and a safe driving record.
• A valid passport and willingness to travel interstate and occasionally internationally.

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded National Irrigation Specification Manager to drive the specification, adoption, and market leadership of our commercial irrigation solutions across Australia.

This is a high-impact national role where you will work closely with irrigation consultants, golf course architects, designers, contractors, dealers, and end users to secure product specifications on major commercial irrigation projects. You will play a critical role in building project pipelines, influencing project outcomes, and strengthening our position within key markets including golf courses, sports fields, race tracks, and public open spaces.

About the Role

As the National Irrigation Specification Manager, you will identify and influence project opportunities from concept through to completion. You'll leverage your industry expertise and professional network to ensure technically compliant, commercially competitive irrigation specifications that deliver exceptional outcomes for customers and stakeholders.
