Job summary

Visy is seeking an experienced Stores Manager for the Yatala Glass site in Australia. This day shift role oversees inventory, storage optimisation, and safe, efficient store operations, reporting to the Engineering & Reliability Manager.

You will manage a large parts store (~$12M) and consumables (~$1M), drive KPI-based improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable supply for production and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience creating and managing a large parts store from scratch.
• Overseeing warehouse operations with safe, efficient handling of materials.
• Building team capability in inventory management, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Experience using SAP for inventory control and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory levels of consumables, spare parts, and maintenance materials.
• Promote safety and efficiency in store operations and ensure compliance.
• Maintain stock integrity via regular counts, reconciliations, and KPI tracking.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, Production and Procurement to forecast needs and plan replenishment.
