Job summary

Hotel Granada Johor Bahru is seeking a Warehouse/Stores person to receive requisition orders, prepare and issue them to departments, and maintain orderly stores and records. The role emphasizes strict stock control, accurate inventory, and proper loading and storage of goods within the hotel.

Responsibilities

• To receive requisition orders from the various department heads, to prepare them for issuing and finally to issue them to the respective departments
• To keep a tight control on stock movements and to have all items inventoried and issued correctly at all times
• Able to direct and store all goods during loading to the right store room
• Makes internal hotel deliveries of requested surplus office furniture and merchandise; maintains records of all deliveries
• Receives and stores documents and confidential files; maintains record of approved document and confidential file destruction
• Maintains the warehouse, records area and stores area in a neat and orderly manner
• Responsible for acceptance and rough checks on all items entering the hotel by volume and quality
• To perform any other duties set by company policies, Management or his/her direct superior and not included in the above job description.
