Job summary

Hotel Granada Johor Bahru is seeking a Guest Services Associate to process guest check-ins, assign rooms, and issue and activate room keys in accordance with hotel procedures. Responsibilities

• Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, and issuing and activating room key
• Contact housekeeping or maintenance when guests report a problem
• Ensure arrival registration cards are filled with guest or staff assistance
• Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
• Refer guests' comments and complaints to the appropriate supervisor
• Stay up-to-date with hotel activities, programs and general information
• Assist guests with inquiries regarding local entertainment, restaurants or transportation
• Keep up to date with changes to accounting policies and procedures
• Discuss matters needing follow-up with the next shift
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships
• Follow and uphold hotel policies
• Manage cash handling responsibilities
