Job summary

Unknown Manufacturer, a leading supplier in electronic equipment, seeks an Inventory Manager to drive global inventory performance and governance across the organisation. You will partner with the Global Supply Chain Team to optimise stock and data quality.

The role requires extensive experience in inventory control, BOM awareness, and strong ERP capability, preferably with Dynamics 365. Tertiary qualifications in SCM or related fields are expected, with emphasis on cross-functional

Responsibilities

• Lead global inventory performance across internal warehouses and 3PL providers to ensure accuracy and compliant processes.
• Manage inventory master data accuracy and stock control standards.
• Oversee annual stock takes, cycle counts and discrepancy investigations.
• Prepare regular inventory reports and dashboards on status, value, turns, ageing risks and service levels.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in inventory management.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Head of Supply Chain, the Inventory Manager will partner with the Global Supply Chain Team to strategically lead global inventory performance, governance, and inventory optimisation across the entire organisation. Key duties of the role will include:

• Leading global inventory performance across internal warehouses and 3PL providers ensuring accuracy, compliance and consistent process at all times
• Manage inventory master data accuracy requirements and inventory control standards
• Leading annual stock takes, cycle counts and heading up discrepancy investigations across internal and 3PL warehouses
• Prepare regular inventory reports and dashboards monitoring inventory status, value, turns, ageing risks service levels and operational performance
• Drive continuous improvements initiatives

The Requirements

• Previous Inventory Management experience with strong understanding of inventory control, stock optimisation and BOM awareness in complex environments
• Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations or related industries
• Strong ERP experience ideally D365
