Job summary

The Monda Company in Sydney is seeking an Inventory Planner / Merchandise Planner / Replenishment & Demand Specialist. You will forecast demand, manage inventory, and plan replenishment to keep bestsellers available while minimizing excess stock.

You’ll work at the heart of a scaling startup, turning data into practical decisions. Ideal candidates are highly organized, detail-focused, and commercially aware, with 1+ years in operations or buying.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years in operations, inventory planning, demand forecasting or buying.
• Retail experience in any capacity is a major plus.
• Excel skills: formulas, pivot tables and working with structured data; macros a bonus.
• Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Accountancy or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own the numbers behind inventory: forecast demand and plan replenishment.
• Monitor stock levels, review replenishment needs and flag low stock.
• Coordinate with suppliers and warehouse on orders, stock movement and dispatch.
• Develop and improve SOPs; build scalable processes as the business grows.
• Utilize Advanced Excel to support replenishment logic and data tooling.
