Job summary

Avida, a family-owned manufacturer of motorhomes and caravans in NSW, is seeking an experienced Inventory Coordinator to manage cycle counting and stock integrity. The role focuses on executing cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, identifying root causes, and driving improvements in inventory controls and processes.

The successful candidate will work hands-on across departments, enhance stock accuracy, and support LEAN practices as we grow.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft suite and above average with Excel.
• Warehousing/Logistics background is a must
• Inventory experience is desirable, an understanding of basic inventory processes is a must.
• A steadfast and positive mentality toward challenges.
• Self-starter (will be set tasks and under minimal direct supervision).
• Personable and able to interact with a variety of internal stakeholders.
• Proven ability to prioritise competing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement of internal inventory systems, processes and controls.
• Manage the Quarantine stock control process.
• Process stock adjustments, out-of-stock reporting and product location management.

Avida is a family-owned business, proudly manufacturing quality Motorhomes and Caravans in Australia since 1965. Located in Emu Plains in Western Sydney, NSW, we have a dealer sales and service network throughout Australia and New Zealand.

We are seeking to appoint an experiencedInventory Coordinator to work closely with the manufacturing assembly lines to:

The primary focus of this position is the execution and management of the company’s cycle counting and stocktaking program, ensuring inventory records remain accurate, reliable and aligned with physical stock.

The role requires a hands on approach, with the majority of time spent conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions accordingly. The Inventory Coordinator will also identify opportunities to improve internal inventory systems, processes and controls, using issues identified through daily activities to drive continuous improvement.

• Implement strategies for all aspects of inventory across multiple departments;
• provide premium level stock control support through effective management of our Quarantine process;
• hands-on manage our cycle count program;
• process stock adjustments, out of stock reporting, and product location management/improvements.
