Job summary

Tradelink Villawood is seeking a motivated Inventory Controller to take ownership of purchasing, stock accuracy and reporting across the branch. This newly created position will support the branch’s continued growth by strengthening its inventory processes and ensuring stock is managed accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory, purchasing, or stock management.
• Excellent numeracy, attention to detail, and reporting skills.
• Comfort with computer systems and data entry.
• Ability to work independently for long periods while contributing to the team.
• Hands-on mindset and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Own daily purchasing for trade and project orders, keeping stock moving.
• Coordinate project procurement and ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain accurate inventory with cycle counts and stocktakes.
• Balance stock levels to avoid shortages and reduce excess costs.
• Produce clear reports and track inventory performance.
• Work closely with the Branch Manager and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams.
• Keep documentation sharp and processes compliant.
