Your new role:

As our Trainee Junior Inventory Controller, you will learn the planning and execution of procurement activities to support growth across the business.

Your key learning outcomes will include:

• Prepare and process purchase orders following our standard company procedures.
• Monitor branch stock levels and create new product codes to support the sales team's needs.
• Keep inventory and pricing data accurate and up to date within the business system.
• Track stock levels closely to make sure we hit our customer service and order fulfillment targets.
• Support the branch manager and team with pricing questions, quotes, and delivery updates.
• Deliver excellent customer service to both internal staff and external clients.

• A professional, approachable manner with a positive attitude toward helping out across the branch.

• A positive, team-first attitude with the confidence to communicate politely and effectively with all customers and staff.
• Solid computer literacy, including comfortable data entry skills and a willingness to learn basic inventory tracking databases.
