O’Brien® is seeking an Inventory Controller to support our supplier network, improve stock availability and strengthen our internal supply chain from Padstow Head Office, with a future relocation to Badgerys Creek NDC in 2027. This role sits within a national Supply & Distribution team and offers hands‑on impact across the network.

• Create and process purchase orders (weekly, fortnightly, monthly).
• Manage national & international suppliers.
• Validate invoices and maintain accurate PO records.
• Coordinate container deliveries, packing lists and shipping documents.
• Review forecasts and maintain forecast accuracy.
• Monitor PTD sales, adjust forecasts and manage danger stock.
• Issue monthly supplier performance reports.
• Support branches with product availability enquiries.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and waste reduction.

Inventory Controller - Padstow (Future move to Badgerys Creek NDC in 2027)

Join a high‑performing Supply & Distribution team and help drive national product availability.

O’Brien® is looking for a proactive Inventory Controller to support our supplier network, improve stock availability and strengthen our internal supply chain.

This role is based at our Padstow Head Office, with a future relocation to our NEW Badgerys Creek National Distribution Centre in 2027 - a modern, purpose‑built facility designed for long‑term growth.

What you’ll be doing

• Create and process purchase orders (weekly, fortnightly, monthly)
• Manage national & international suppliers
• Validate invoices and maintain accurate PO records
• Coordinate container deliveries, packing lists and shipping documents
• Review forecasts and maintain forecast accuracy
• Monitor PTD sales, adjust forecasts and manage danger stock
• Issue monthly supplier performance reports
• Support branches with product availability enquiries
• Contribute to continuous improvement and waste reduction

What you’ll bring

• Inventory management experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and customer-focused mindset
• Ability to prioritise, multitask and work independently
• Intermediate MS Word & Excel skills
• Automotive knowledge (desirable)
