Job summary

Rockhampton Hospital, part of the Queensland Government, invites a Specialist Cardiologist with modern interventional cardiology experience to join the Cardiology team. You will deliver General and Interventional Cardiology across the Coronary Care Unit, Cardiology Ward, outpatient clinics and the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory, and help establish the new interventional service.

You will contribute to models of care, clinical pathways, governance and teaching, and work across the regional

Qualifications

• Specialist Cardiologist with contemporary Interventional Cardiology experience.
• Current PCI practice and involvement in primary PCI services.
• Strong General Cardiology capability and leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver General and Interventional Cardiology across the CCU, Ward, outpatient clinics and Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory.
• Help establish Rockhampton Hospital's new Interventional Cardiology service.
• Shape models of care, clinical pathways, and future interventional capability across the region.
• Contribute to governance, quality improvement and teaching.
