Job summary

Motion is seeking an Internal Salesperson in Wagga Wagga to deliver exceptional customer service and manage orders, quotes and inquiries. You will support the external sales team, build strong customer relationships, and contribute to efficient stock control and replenishment while handling occasional manual tasks.

This role requires a Saturday roster (1–3 Saturdays per month) and a proactive, solution-focused approach within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in internal sales or customer service highly regarded.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to participate in a Saturday roster (essential).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive and solution-focused approach.
• Computer literate at an intermediate level, with experience using Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to perform regular manual handling tasks, including picking and packing duties.
• Forklift license would be desirable but not essential.
• Product knowledge in bearing and power transmission (desirable but not essential).

Join our Wagga Wagga team as an Internal Salesperson and play a pivotal role in supporting our customers while contributing to the overall success of the branch.

This position is centered on internal sales and customer service, serving as the primary point of contact for customers and ensuring their needs are managed promptly, professionally, and efficiently.

This role includes participation in a rotating Saturday roster, typically 1–3 Saturdays per month, depending on staffing levels.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in person.
• Process customer orders, quotes, and inquiries efficiently and accurately.
• Support external sales team with detailed quotes, and account coordination
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Assist with inventory management, including stock control and replenishment.

The position requires regular manual handling tasks, including picking and packing, and the ability to safely lift and move items weighing up to 15kg.

Skills and Experience:
