Job summary

Metcash's Warringah Timbers team on the Northern Beaches seeks a reliable Inside Sales team member for a full-time role. You will respond to phone enquiries, organize deliveries, process customer orders, prepare quotes and handle transactions in store.

This position offers a Monday to Friday schedule with occasional half Saturdays and requires completing a medical assessment prior to starting. Timber and hardware knowledge is useful, with strong communication and teamwork valued.

Due to an internal promotion, the Warringah Timbers team is on the lookout for a reliable and flexible team player to join us as an Inside Sales team member on a full-time basis.

This role operates a full time hour week across Monday to Friday (with occasional half Saturdays). You'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, from responding to phone enquiries, organising deliveries, processing customer orders, preparing quotes and processing customer transactions in store.

You will need to complete a medical assessment prior to starting with Warringah Timbers.

What you will be doing:

• Creating Orders for customers

What you will bring:

• A strong work ethic and a "can-do" attitude
• Excellent communication skills and a team-first mindset
• Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook
• Timber and hardware knowledge is an advantage but not essential
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with a sense of urgency
