Job summary

Motion Apac in Brisbane seeks a proactive customer service and sales specialist to be the primary contact for a major account. You will handle quotes, orders and inquiries with precision while delivering outstanding service.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in customer service or sales, familiarity with industrial products such as rotary seals, gaskets, and hydraulic seals is advantageous, and you possess strong communication skills. Join a collaborative team within the GPC/global network.

Why this role?

In this role, you will be the key point of contact for managing a major account, assisting with accurate quoting, and providing outstanding customer service. While this is primarily a customer service role, technical knowledge and a keen eye for detail are essential to support our customers effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in person.
• Process customer orders, quotes, and inquiries efficiently and accurately.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Support the external sales team by preparing quotes, products, and assisting customer accounts.
• Assist with inventory management, including stock control and replenishment.

About You – The Ideal Candidate:

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• At least a 1-year experience in customer service/ sales industry.
• Experience in industrial products such as rotary seals, gaskets, and Mechanical/ hydraulic seals is advantageous
• Computer literacy at an intermediate level
• Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Team player to support other areas when required.
