Job summary

University of New South Wales seeks a Communications Officer (Internal) to support trusted, high‑impact corporate communications across staff. You will develop and implement plans that promote university messaging and engage staff through internal channels.

In this role, you will write UNSW stories, deliver all-staff emails, measure reach and translate complex information into accessible messages for a diverse audience. The position is hybrid with opportunities to influence campus communications.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in communications or marketing.
• Proven ability to deliver internal communications across multiple platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Ability to distill complex information into clear messages.
• Experience liaising with internal stakeholders to achieve outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Write and disseminate UNSW stories and messages, coordinating University-wide communications.
• Create clear, engaging content to keep staff informed and connected.
• Partner with stakeholders across UNSW, providing internal communications advice.
• Develop internal communications plans and content for diverse audiences.
• Create and maintain internal communications resources and tools.
• Use data to improve reach and impact of internal channels.
