Job summary

Crawford and Company is hiring a Property Claims Consultant in Sydney. You will manage a portfolio of property claims from lodgement through to resolution, while supporting customers and building your claims knowledge and expertise.

We are seeking individuals with at least 1 year in claims or general insurance who are confident communicating with customers and stakeholders and eager to grow their career within Crawford’s national and global network. This is a permanent role with hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Confident communicating with customers and stakeholders.
• Keen to continue developing career in claims.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of property claims from lodgement through to resolution.
• Support and guide customers throughout the claims process.

• Liaise with customers, insurers and service providers.
• Assist with claim assessments, reserves and settlement outcomes.

What We Are Looking For

Essential

• 1+ year of experience in claims, general insurance or a similar claims-focused role
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• Confidence managing competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• A positive, proactive approach and willingness to continue learning

Desirable

• Previous exposure to property claims
• Experience working within an insurer, loss adjuster or claims management environment
• Certificate IV in Loss Adjusting or a General Insurance-related qualification Career Growth at Crawford
