Job summary

Kennedy Reid Pty is seeking an Internal Account Executive to service SME and commercial insurance portfolios, supporting Account Executives and senior brokers. You will prepare submissions, liaise with underwriters, and maintain strong client relationships in a hybrid, Sydney-based role.

Ideal candidates have SME/commercial insurance experience, excellent communication, and a proactive, client-focused approach to growing and retaining accounts.

Qualifications

• Solid SME and commercial insurance broking experience.
• Experience in Internal Account Executive, Account Manager or broker support roles.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and processes.
• Experience servicing a portfolio of SME clients.
• Excellent communication and relationship-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational ability.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day servicing of SME and commercial insurance accounts.
• Assist with new business and renewal processes.
• Prepare submissions and obtain quotations from insurers.
• Liaise with underwriters to negotiate terms and premiums.
• Handle policy adjustments, endorsements, certificates and documentation.
• Maintain relationships with clients and insurers.
• Support Account Executives and senior brokers with their portfolios.
• Identify opportunities to grow and retain existing accounts.
• Ensure all client requirements are managed accurately within timeframes.
