Job summary

Kennedy Reid Pty is seeking an Internal Account Executive to service SME and commercial insurance portfolios, supporting Account Executives and senior brokers. You will prepare submissions, liaise with underwriters, and maintain strong client relationships in a hybrid, Sydney-based role.

Ideal candidates have SME/commercial insurance experience, excellent communication, and a proactive, client-focused approach to growing and retaining accounts.

Qualifications

• Solid SME and commercial insurance broking experience.
• Experience in Internal Account Executive, Account Manager or broker support roles.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and processes.
• Experience servicing a portfolio of SME clients.
• Excellent communication and relationship-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational ability.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day servicing of SME and commercial insurance accounts.
• Assist with new business and renewal processes.

Our client is a well-established and growing insurance brokerage looking to appoint an experienced Internal Account Executive to join their commercial insurance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an insurance professional with a strong background in SME and commercial insurance who enjoys client servicing, building relationships and working closely with Account Executives and senior brokers.

• Managing the day-to-day servicing of SME and commercial insurance accounts.

About You

You will have:

• Solid experience within SME and commercial insurance broking.
• Previous experience in an Internal Account Executive, Account Manager, Broker Support or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and processes.
• Experience servicing a portfolio of SME clients.
• Excellent communication and relationship-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational ability.
• The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a wider team.
• A proactive and client-focused approach.
