Job summary

New Venture Recruitment is seeking an experienced HVAC Draftsperson to join a Brisbane-based mechanical contractor. You will produce detailed HVAC shop drawings and installation drawings, develop coordinated drawings for on-site installation, and collaborate with project managers, engineers and site teams to resolve issues.

The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit and a practical, detail-oriented approach to construction documentation.

Qualifications

• A few years' experience in mechanical drafting, ideally within an HVAC mechanical contractor.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, ductwork layouts and mechanical services installation.
• Experience producing detailed shop drawings and coordinated construction documentation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit, with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• A practical, detail-oriented approach with an understanding of construction methodology and site requirements.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with project and site teams.

Company Join an established mechanical services contractor delivering HVAC projects across a range of sectors. With a growing workload and plans to expand its drafting function, the business is looking to bring on an experienced HVAC Draftsperson to support its project delivery team.

The Role
Working closely with the construction and project teams, you will be responsible for producing detailed mechanical services drawings to support the delivery of HVAC projects from coordination through to installation.
