Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Interim Process Assistant for the Jandakot Fulfillment Center (PER4) in Australia. You will support the Area Manager and contribute to Receive, stow, pick, pack or ship processes, helping improve efficiency and ensure orders are delivered quickly, accurately, and cost-effectively.

This interim opportunity involves assisting in daily department duties, coverage for leadership, and participation in Operational Excellence initiatives, while maintaining safety and a clean work

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Support and work in all departments as required
• Helping support daily management of department duties, including allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties etc
• Providing coverage for Area Managers
• Providing policy follow-up, attendance tracking
• Assisting the floor as a subject matter expert for associates
• Ensuring successful area performance
• Participating in Operational Excellence initiatives in some capacity
• Assisting in keeping work area clean and organised
• Identifying and addressing safety hazards within the work area
• Coaching associates to work safely at all times
