Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Interim Process Assistant for the Step Up Pool at the Jandakot Fulfillment Center (PER4) in Australia. The role will support the Area Manager and cover various process areas such as receive, stow, pick, pack or ship to improve delivery efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

This interim opportunity is open to associates currently employed at PER4 and involves stepping up into a Process Assistant role for a period of time. Flexibility in schedule is required.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Can lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for shifts up to 12 hours.
• Work 40 hours/week and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Support and work in all departments as required.
• Assist with daily management of department duties including labor allocation and meetings.
• Provide coverage for Area Managers as needed.
• Follow policies and track attendance (not responsible for discipline).
• Act as a SME for associates on the floor.
• Help ensure area performance and safety.
• Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives where applicable.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Identify and address safety hazards.
• Coach associates to work safely at all times.
