Job summary

Perigon Group in Gympie is seeking an experienced Interim Bookkeeper for a hands-on 3-month contract. The role covers day-to-day finance operations across accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, payroll, and month-end activities within a busy team.

You will maintain the general ledger, process journals, support ad hoc finance tasks, and work from the Gympie office with an immediate-start opportunity.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Bookkeeping, Accountant, or similar finance role.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Proficient with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Available to commence at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Bank reconciliations and daily cash management
