Job summary

C3 Talent is recruiting an experienced Financial Accountant for an urgent contract in Gympie. This full-time, on-site role supports the finance team through to Christmas with a hands-on approach.

You will handle month-end close, P&L and balance sheet tasks, cost and inventory analysis, and asset accounting while collaborating with production and finance teams. Ideal candidates have strong accounting experience, CA/CPA is valued, and manufacturing costing exposure is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Strong Financial Accounting experience.
• Solid month end and balance sheet capability.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems.
• Confident working across finance and operational teams.
• Manufacturing, inventory or costing exposure is advantageous.
• CA/CPA qualification is highly regarded.

About the Role:

We are recruiting an experienced Financial Accountant for an urgent contract opportunity with a food manufacturing business in Gympie. Working full-time and fully on site, you will support the finance team through to Christmas.

Key responsibilities include:

• Month end close, journals and accruals
• Balance sheet and bank reconciliations
• P&L reporting and variance analysis
• Inventory reconciliations and stock valuation
• Fixed asset accounting
• Audit, BAS and compliance support
• Manufacturing cost and operational variance analysis

You will ideally have:

• Strong Financial Accounting experience
• Solid month end and balance sheet capability
• Strong Excel and ERP systems skills
• Confidence working across finance and operational teams
• Manufacturing, inventory or costing exposure would be advantageous
• CA/CPA qualification is highly regarded

On Offer:

• Up to $90 per hour + super, dependent on experience
