Job summary

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or Business.
• Minimum one year of accounting/finance experience.
• Experience in payroll, general ledger, accounts payable/receivable and reconciliations.
• Proficient in MYOB and Excel.
• Understanding of month-end accounting and Australian reporting.
• Experience in aged care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day finance operations including AP, AR, payroll and banking.
• Perform GL and balance sheet reconciliations and assist month-end/year-end processes.
• Prepare financial reports, journals and accounting records.
• Assist with statutory reporting and ensure timely finance activities.
• Maintain accurate records and support internal controls.
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve payment issues.
• Support audit preparations and process improvements.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support finance operations.
