Job summary

Moir Group is seeking an Assistant Accountant/Accounts Officer for a 6-8 week contract, starting early November. Based in St Leonards with a hybrid work model, the role covers AP/AR, reconciliations and month-end tasks.

Prior experience in similar finance roles and unrestricted Australian work rights are required. Proficiency with MYOB, Acumatica and TrailD is preferable, along with strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Position

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records while providing support across accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and month-end processes.

Profile

Previous experience asan Assistant Accountant, Accounts Officer, or similar finance role including, accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations

Strong working knowledge of:MYOB Acumatica andTrailD is preferable

Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Excellent attention to detail and strong reconciliation skills

Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Relevant accounting qualification or currently studying towards CA/CPA qualifications is desirable
