Job summary

Westpac Bank is seeking an Intelligence and Decision Analyst to turn business questions into trusted insights and measurable outcomes. You will source data, perform analyses, test hypotheses and deliver decision-ready intelligence that drives business action within governance and risk standards.

You will build reusable analytics assets, collaborate with stakeholders across business, data and technology, and explore AI-enabled analytics to enhance efficiency and capability.

Qualifications

• Experience in Data Analytics and/or Data Engineering within Banking/Financial Services, especially Credit Risk, Collections, Hardship or Customer Management.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Teradata, SQL, Python, Snowflake and Power BI; SAS desirable.
• Experience in data analysis, sourcing, modelling, reporting and data visualization to support business decisions.
