Job summary

Leaders IT is seeking a skilled API integration specialist to join a multi-location team across QLD, ACT, NSW and SA. You will provide production support for integration platforms, onboard digital partners, and maintain APIs using MuleSoft and IBM API Connect.

The role requires 2–3 years’ API/integration experience, strong communication with stakeholders, and eligibility for Baseline security clearance. Applicants from Australia are welcome.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' API/integration experience in high-pressure environments.
• Ability to learn new API/integration technologies quickly.
• Citizenship Australian and Baseline security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support for integration platforms and services.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for onboarding of digital partners.
• Maintain and configure APIs and applications in MuleSoft and IBM API Connect.
• Perform API/environment testing as required.
• Monitor and report on end-to-end API health, performance and statistics.
• Troubleshoot incidents and work with level three technical/development teams.
• Participate in an on-call support roster to ensure service availability.
• Develop and maintain support documentation (processes, policies, configuration).

You'll be part of a multi-disciplinary support team and will:

The Role

• Provide production support for integration platforms and services
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support registration and onboarding of digital partners
• Maintain and configure APIs and applications in MuleSoft and IBM API Connect
• Perform API/environment testing as required
• Monitor and report on end-to-end API health, performance and statistics
• Troubleshoot complex incidents and work closely with level three technical/development teams
• Participate in an on-call support roster to ensure service availability and reliability
• Develop and maintain support documentation (processes, policies, configuration)

What you'll need (Must-have)

• 2-3 years' experience working with APIs and/or integration in high-pressure environments
• Strong understanding of API/integration technologies and ability to learn new products quickly
• A quality-focused approach to improving and streamlining processes
• Strong communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Australian citizenship and ability to obtain Baseline security clearance

Desirable

• Admin/config experience with MuleSoft or IBM API Connect
• Exposure to CRM systems
• Interest in accessibility and accessible design/development
