Lockton in Perth is seeking an Associate in our ProExec team, offering a flexible hybrid environment. You will support large corporate clients and help draft submissions, renewals, and strategies, while liaising with senior clients and underwriters.

Ideal candidates have a degree in Accounting/Business/Commerce/Law, a Tier 1 insurance broking qualification, 1–3 years of experience, and strong Excel skills. Join a world-leading, privately owned broker with strong development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Business/Commerce or Law is essential.
• Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification is required.
• 1–3 years insurance/broking experience.
• Understanding of invoicing procedures and file management.
• Strong Excel reporting skills or similar.
• Knowledge of WinBEAT is desirable.
• Knowledge of business package insurance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the team on larger corporate clients.
• Assist Manager with client inquiries and research for client needs.
• Draft underwriter submissions and evaluate quotations reflecting client needs.
• Prepare renewal strategies, reports, and certificates of currency.
• Conduct research to identify and evaluate opportunities for clients.
• Support the Perth office in servicing the client portfolio.
• Assist with smaller professional and executive risk placements as needed.
