Job summary

Yokogawa Australia is seeking a Sales Support Engineer to join the Products Sales team in Macquarie Park, NSW. The role supports customers by applying technical knowledge to select instrumentation solutions, prepare quotations, and manage commercial activities.

Office-based, with opportunities for permanent placement for high-performing individuals. The role emphasizes collaboration with suppliers, manufacturing partners, and the sales/marketing team to achieve business objectives in Australia

Qualifications

Degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of instrumentation product families (Pressure, Temperature, Flow, Level, analysers).
Previous sales-support experience handling orders and quotations.
Ability to collaborate with third-party partners and manufacturers.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Technically savvy, proactive with strong planning and organisation.

Responsibilities

Select Yokogawa and partner instrumentation products per enquiries, specs and datasheets.
Prepare quotations, tender submissions, project proposals and follow up to maximise sales.
Review customer specs and identify suitable technical solutions.
Process customer orders, POs and vendor data requirements.
Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to deliver solutions.
Provide prompt, professional customer support including order status updates.
Maintain accurate CRM records of interactions and opportunities.
