Job summary

Nectr Solar & Battery is seeking an Installation Manager to lead the delivery team, ensuring quality and smooth flow of every install from start to finish. The role is predominantly office-based with occasional site visits, and will involve coordinating with the Scheduling Coordinator and managing subcontractors.

You will utilize your trade knowledge, lead a small team, and provide support across the customer experience function while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

• Unrestricted electrical licence is required.
• SAA accreditation for solar and battery is required.
• White card and working at heights ticket are required.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Complete technical checks on jobs before install, covering designs, site details and paperwork.
• Co-ordinate installations alongside Scheduling Coordinator.
• Own installation quality assurance and hold subcontractors accountable to our standards.
• Review and approve subcontractor invoices.
• Provide technical support to Customer Experience team.
• Fault find remotely and on site when required.
• Be the go-to contact for subcontractors, customers and internal staff on install matters.
• Step up and cover for the National Operations Manager when needed.

About Nectr

Nectr Solar & Battery designs and installs solar and battery systems for homes across Australia. Our delivery team is small and hands-on, and we work closely together. We're looking for the right person to help lead it.

About the role

As Installation Manager, you'll be second in charge under our National Operations Manager. You'll own the quality and flow of every install, from tech check through to completion. With support from our Scheduling Coordinator, you'll keep jobs moving, crews informed and customers in the loop. This role is 95% office based. You'll put your trade knowledge to work every day without the summer heat, the ladders and the long drives between sites. You'll only head out to site occasionally, when a fault needs hands-on attention.

Key responsibilities

Complete technical checks on jobs before install, covering designs, site details and paperwork

Co-ordinate installations alongside our Scheduling Coordinator

Own installation quality assurance and hold subcontractors accountable to our standards

Review and approve subcontractor invoices

Give technical support to our Customer Experience team

About you

At least 3 years' experience in a management role

Able to troubleshoot confidently over the phone

Computer literate and comfortable with most software
