Job summary

Ferntree Gully North Primary School in Victoria is seeking a classroom teacher to deliver instruction across multiple year levels. You will contribute to school policy development, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with families and colleagues to support student learning, wellbeing and engagement.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including literacy and numeracy.
• Ability to plan for and implement high impact teaching strategies.
• Experience in monitoring and assessing student learning and using data to inform practice.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contributing to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum areas.
• Undertaking other classroom teaching related and organisational duties as determined by the Principal.
• Participating in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertaking other non-teaching supervisory duties.
