Job summary

You will collaborate in grade-level teams, implement high-impact teaching strategies, assess student progress and communicate with families. The role sits within Classroom Teacher ranges 1 and 2, with responsibilities that expand with experience and school needs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum and ability to implement literacy and numeracy instruction.
• Experience planning and delivering high-impact teaching strategies.
• Ability to monitor student progress and adapt teaching to needs.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contribute to curriculum development, implementation and evaluation.
• Undertake other classroom duties as determined by the principal.
• Engage in parent/teacher meetings; staff meetings; camps and excursions.
• Undertake other non-teaching supervisory duties.
