Job summary

Pedare invites two Diverse Learning Assistants to join our Junior School (Years R–5). You will provide direct, specialist support to students with additional learning needs, working with classroom teachers to help students overcome learning barriers and extend their capabilities.

This is a 12-month contract (32.75 and 18.5 hours per week) commencing January 2027. Reporting to the Diverse Learning Coordinator R‑5, you will support programs such as PreLit, MiniLit or Macqlit, provide student

Qualifications

• SA WWCC is required.
• RRHAN certification required.
• First Aid and CPR certificates preferred; provide evidence before start.

Responsibilities

• Deliver learning support programs (PreLit, MiniLit, Macqlit).
• Give students feedback and encourage participation.
• Assist the Diverse Learning Coordinator with testing and admin tasks.
