Job summary

Wesco Anixter Security Branch in Western Australia is seeking a proactive Inside Sales Representative to join our Balcatta team. You will manage accounts, drive sales programs, quote and negotiate, and collaborate with Outside Sales and product teams to deliver security solutions.

The role emphasizes building long‑term relationships, expanding activity, and accurate processing of complex orders. You should have strong communication, technical aptitude, and experience in technology or wholesale

Qualifications

• Inside Sales or account support experience in a technology or wholesale distribution environment.
• Exposure to electronic security solutions (preferred).
• Strong phone and face-to-face communication with confidence to sell.
• Technical aptitude to discuss products and solutions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Account Management: Build and grow long-term customer relationships while expanding activity.
• Proactive Sales: Drive sales growth through outbound engagement and opportunity identification.
• Collaboration: Partner with Outside Sales, vendors, product managers, and customer service.
• Quoting: Prepare quotes, support project registrations, and negotiate pricing to protect margin.
• Product & Solution Selling: Deliver recommendations and guidance aligned to customer needs.
• Order Management: Support complex orders for accurate processing and documentation.
• Sales Program Execution: Promote internal and vendor-led programs and campaigns.
• Trade Counter: Assist with calls, trade counter service and technical advice.
