Job summary

Wesco Anixter, a global distributor of security, networking and data centre solutions, invites applications for an Inside Sales Representative in Sydney.

Based at our Silverwater office, you will handle inbound enquiries, manage orders with accuracy, coordinate fulfilment, and promote product and solution selling to support revenue growth.

You will collaborate with outside sales, operations and suppliers to resolve issues, ensure timely delivery, and build strong, trusted customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced customer service or inside sales environments.
• Ability to learn products, systems and solutions quickly.
• Strong administration and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls and emails with prompt, accurate support.
• Create and process orders with high accuracy.
• Verify orders, manage fulfilment, and communicate stock, lead times, and delivery updates.
• Recommend products and alternatives that meet customer needs, while driving upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
• Promote Wesco Anixter’s supply chain services, including kitting and project staging.
• Support Outside Sales to prepare, issue, and follow up on quotations.
• Monitor open orders, backorders, and expediting requirements.
• Work with outside sales, operations, technology support, inventory, and suppliers to resolve issues and deliver outcomes
