Responsibilities include direct teaching, curriculum development, and collaboration with staff to support student learning, wellbeing and engagement.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of the curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning high-impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning growth.
• Experience monitoring student learning and using data to inform teaching practice.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents and staff.
• Commitment to professional learning and reflecting to improve teaching quality.

Responsabilités

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum areas.
• Undertake other classroom teaching and organisational duties as determined by the Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Supervise and mentor student teachers when applicable.
