Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the curriculum, including literacy and numeracy teaching.
• Experience planning high-impact teaching strategies.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning and using data to inform practice.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with students, parents, colleagues and the broader school community.
• Commitment to the Department values and ongoing professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum programs.
• Undertake other classroom teaching related and organizational duties as required.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Support student wellbeing, agency and engagement.
