Department of Education Victoria – Mount Waverley VIC is seeking a classroom teacher to deliver high-quality programs for students across Year 7-12. The role encompasses planning, preparing and teaching to achieve defined student outcomes, with responsibilities spanning curriculum development and teaching duties.

The position includes contributing to school policy, mentoring other teachers, analysing student data to inform instruction, and supporting student wellbeing within a diverse learning

Competenze

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including the ability to incorporate literacy and numeracy skills.
• Experience planning for and implementing high-impact teaching strategies and evaluating their impact on student learning.
• Demonstrated experience monitoring and assessing student learning and using data to inform teaching and provide feedback to students and parents.

Mansioni

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contributing to development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum area or other program.
• Undertaking other classroom teaching related and organisational duties as determined by the School Principal.
• Participating in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
