Job summary

Life Without Barriers is seeking an Injury Management Advisor to support injured and ill employees across NSW. This permanent full-time role offers hybrid work from home arrangements and may be based from any NSW office, including Newcastle, Maitland or Sydney.

You will coordinate injury management and RTW programs, provide expert advice on workers compensation, and collaborate with leaders, insurers and practitioners to optimise outcomes for staff and the organisation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in return to work, injury management, case management or workers compensation claims management.
• Knowledge of NSW workers compensation legislation and related regulatory requirements.
• Ability to engage effectively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate injury management and return to work programs to achieve positive and sustainable outcomes.
• Partner with leaders, employees, insurers and treating practitioners to manage injury and workers compensation cases.
• Provide expert advice on injury management practices and workers compensation requirements.
• Develop and monitor return to work plans, identifying and addressing barriers to recovery.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships to influence outcomes and support employee wellbeing.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and projects that enhance injury management performance and outcomes.
