Job summary

Life Without Barriers is seeking a permanent full-time Worker Compensation role based in NSW with hybrid work from home arrangements.

Reporting to the Worker Compensation manager, you will support injured and ill employees through effective injury management, RTW and wellbeing programs, and influence injury management practices while collaborating with leaders, insurers and treating practitioners to achieve positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Allied Health, Rehabilitation, HR or equivalent.
• Experience in return to work and injury management.
• Knowledge of NSW workers compensation legislation.
• Ability to engage with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Return to Work Coordinator training completed or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate injury management and return to work programs to achieve positive and sustainable outcomes.
• Partner with leaders, employees, insurers and treating practitioners to effectively manage injury and workers compensation cases.
• Provide expert advice on injury management practices and workers compensation requirements.
• Develop and monitor return to work plans, identifying and addressing barriers to recovery.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships to influence outcomes and support employee wellbeing.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and projects that enhance injury management performance and outcomes.
