Job summary

Bunnings Group is seeking an Injury Management Advisor to lead early and ongoing injury management, support return-to-work journeys, and ensure compliance with workers’ compensation legislation while supporting our injured team members across sites and the support office.

This hybrid role combines site presence with remote work, collaborating with insurers, site leaders, medical teams, and internal stakeholders to deliver progressive return-to-work plans and positive claim outcomes.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in allied health with experience in injury management.
• Experience managing complex injuries in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in Occupational Rehabilitation (desirable).
• Knowledge of self-insured workers compensation and injury management legislation (NSW/ACT, desirable).
• Strong planning, organisation, negotiation, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain external partnerships (insurers/regulators).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide early and ongoing injury management support to injured team members and ensure compliance with workers' compensation legislation.
• Provide cross national support for workers' compensation injury claims.
• Coordinate with insurer, injured team members, site leaders, and medical team to support progressive return-to-work strategies.
• Facilitate return-to-work meetings, medical case conferences and claims reviews to negotiate effective recovery and claims outcomes.
• Follow injury management policies and procedures in line with legislation and audit program.
