Job summary

Goodstart Early Learning is seeking a senior Recover@Work lead in Melbourne to oversee injury management and workers’ compensation programs. You will guide teams, ensure compliance with legislation, and drive continuous improvement in return-to-work outcomes.

You will bring a tertiary allied health or WHS qualification, plus a decade of Workers’ Compensation experience, strong leadership, and excellent stakeholder engagement ability.

Qualifications

• Ten years’ experience in Workers' Compensation.
• Tertiary degree in allied health, WHS or related discipline preferred.
• Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
• Strong relationship development with stakeholders, suppliers and industry contacts.
• Discretion and confidentiality are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Recover@Work Partner and Team Support resources with clear priorities and structured work allocation.
• Strengthen capability across operational leadership with guidance, coaching and practical support in injury management.
• Maintain current knowledge of Workers’ Compensation and Work Health and Safety legislation and standards.
• Ensure quality and consistency of return-to-work practices and technical advice.
• Monitor case management and recovery outcomes across the portfolio and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop professional capability of Recover@Work Partners through mentoring and learning activities.
• Foster knowledge sharing and learning opportunities to strengthen organisational capability in injury management.
