Infrastructure Architect

A leading Financial Services provider is seeking an Infrastructure Solution Architect to join their team on initial twelve-month contract.

You will be joining a large Infrastructure Architecture practice, comprising a large number of experienced, savvy technologists who all possess a depth and breadth of experience across a wide variety of technologies and platforms. You will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of scalable and secure infrastructure solutions to support a major business transformation. Your role will ensure that the infrastructure aligns with the organization's enterprise architecture and technology standards. In this role, you will work closely with different IT teams and manage outsourced partners to deliver top-notch infrastructure solutions.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• A bachelor's degree in a related field or comparable industry experience.
• Cloud technology certifications, such as AWS Solutions Architect.
• Familiarity with architecture frameworks like TOGAF.
• Over 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure positions.
• Extensive technical expertise in infrastructure (cloud AWS, storage, backup, server management, firewalls, PaaS/SaaS, Microsoft technologies, and security controls).
• Experience leading teams through technology changes and modern infrastructure adoption.
• Advanced knowledge of solution design frameworks for effective system architecture.
• Ability to estimate costs and guide outsourced teams on solution implementation.
