Job summary

Randstad in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Solution Architect - Infrastructure to lead end-to-end technical designs across a major enterprise environment.

Are you an experienced Solution Architect looking to lead end-to-end technical designs and shape key infrastructure strategies across a major enterprise environment?

We are seeking a high-performing Solution Architect - Infrastructure to design, assure, and optimise scalable infrastructure solutions spanning network, cloud, security, and systems integration.

What You Will Do:

• Lead the design and assurance of complex infrastructure architectures, ensuring alignment with business objectives and system stability.
• Formulate technical roadmaps, frameworks, standards, and policies across network, server, cloud, security, and integration domains.
• Conduct complex business situation analyses to translate enterprise strategies into costed, actionable infrastructure designs.
• Drive the adoption of systems design methodologies, governance frameworks, and risk management practices across projects.
• Collaborate with diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders to communicate architectural decisions and build strategic consensus.

What You Need to Apply for This Role:

• Proven experience as an Infrastructure or Solution Architect designing robust solutions in medium-to-large enterprise IT environments.
• Hands-on expertise with network design models, virtualisation, cloud infrastructure (e.g., Azure), and enterprise security frameworks.
• Strong background in preparing cost infrastructure design proposals and managing architectural trade-offs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage both high-level and detailed technical audiences.
• Tertiary qualifications in IT (or equivalent industry experience); TOGAF Practitioner or relevant technical certifications (e.g., Azure, VMware) are highly desirable.
