Job summary

Granite Group is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Solution Architect to design and deliver end-to-end IT infrastructure solutions across server, network and Azure cloud domains. You will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, guide architecture standards, and mentor project teams in a variety of delivery methodologies.

The role emphasizes secure, scalable architecture with resilience and high availability, plus active engagement with vendors and enterprise architecture

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing and developing complex IT infrastructure solutions.
• Proven accountability for solution architecture and technical outcomes.
• Strong experience designing secure server, network and Azure cloud solutions.
• Experience documenting solution architectures across business, application, information and technology domains.
• Experience evaluating and selecting technology solutions and components.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience working across a variety of software development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver end-to-end solution architectures aligned with business requirements and strategic technology roadmaps.
• Work with business stakeholders, Project Managers and Business Analysts to understand project objectives, requirements and constraints.
• Evaluate and recommend technology solutions, considering cost, risk, security, scalability, performance and total cost of ownership.
• Design secure server, network and Azure cloud solutions.
• Facilitate architecture workshops and communicate technical solutions clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain current-state and future-state architecture documentation.
• Contribute to architecture standards, principles, patterns, reference architectures and technology roadmaps.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring and thought leadership to project teams.
• Conduct design reviews and ensure solutions align with agreed architecture standards and requirements.
• Consider operational requirements including resilience, high availability, monitoring, maintainability and performance.
• Work with vendors and external consultants to assess and develop appropriate technology solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across IT architecture, delivery and operational practices.
