Job summary

Volvo Group Australia’s Volvo Penta division seeks a Technical Support Specialist to develop the dealer network across WA, SA, VIC and NT. You will provide technical support for mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults, manage warranty campaigns, and work with dealers to improve performance using Argus, Vodia and related systems.

You will train dealer personnel, oversee service market audits, and build strong customer relationships while contributing to service growth and satisfaction

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in automotive, construction or marine industry.
• Strong experience in heavy vehicle technical sector; industrial or marine engineering desirable.
• Experience in working with Dealers.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Self-driven with a customer oriented mindset.
• Excellent computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
• High level data analysis skills.
• Strategic planning to reach targets and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support regarding mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults within the Volvo Penta Oceania service network.
• Manage and administer Argus service requests.
• Audit and supervise warranty and campaigns in accordance with company guidelines.
• Continuously improve the performance of Volvo Penta Dealers using Vodia, Warranty UCHP, and Argus systems.
• Promote and market Penta’s total offer, including Parts & Product Management, Service Agreements, Price Management, and Aftersales.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and dealer networks.
• Perform Service Market audits throughout the Dealer network.
• Manage customer satisfaction surveys and compile monthly reports and analysis.
• Oversee unit registrations and ensure quality.
• Assist with training dealer personnel and provide onsite technical support.
